The Naga stairs on both side is considered the finest Lanna arts in northern region.

During the time of Queen Maha Tavejiraprapa, the 15th ruler of Mengrai, There was a flood and earthquake, it destroyed the pagoda into half, and it remained for 4 centuries.
In the back of the temple, there is an old reclining Buddha built the same time as the pagoda, and many statues around the area.
