We will bring you to see Nakorn Phukanyao, known as Phayao. It is recommended for the visitors to see The Phrakaeo Busarakum of Wat Ananyo tipyaram on the hill Doi Busarakum.
Wat Ananyo is at Sunpabong, Sunpamuang, Mueang, Phayao. It has the area of 2,800 rai. The founder was the monk named Phaiboon Sumangkalo, he saw the golden sand poured down from the sky to the temple and the gold covered the temple. So, he asked the people to build the temple on that spot until now.
The Supreme Somdej Phrayansongworn, of Wat Baworn laid down the foundation stone on May 14,2525. The temple is far away form the source of water. The founder went to the Royal Palace and mention the lack of water for the temple to the king, and the king arrange for the Irrigation Department to build the water reservoir at Maetam reservoir and Huaytub-chang reservoir for the temple and the people around the area. The project was finished on January 20,2530.
Wat Ananyo is big and famous temple of Phayao, there are many interesting things to see and study. The temple has a large area for parking and many souvenir shops selling local handicrafts to visitors.
Many building are made out of teak wood, there is a large pond with many kinds of fish in this water.
On
the way going up to the temple is steep and many
steps, there are many trees on the sides of the
stairs. The trees creating the shade and cool
the visitors climbing to the temple.
We came to the circle of birth,
it has 12 horoscope signs on the year people
were born. It is the believe that if the
worshipers can put the coin in standing
position, that person can be successful and
prosperity in life. Many of them tried many
times for fun and faith.
Then we came to the wooden teak
wood crafted as the Buddha in sitting position,
just a beauty, tranquil to the sight of the
worshipers.
On the way, we see a lot of lotus are being planted on the water way, there are many trees being planted on the way. It is the good sight and cool area for people to walk around.
We
have seen many Buddha statues in many styles,
Lanna style, Sukothai style, and many styles
from our neighbor countries.
At the Busarakum, there are many
Buddha statues in many color of the difference
stones and styles.
This is the temple of the gems
statue Buddha. The famous and the pride of the
city of Phayao.
