It could be
disappointing if you went to Phuket without
visitting Wat Chalong because it is Phukets
most important temple.
A lot of people visit the
temple to be blessed by the monks and receive a
good luck charm which they believe that it can
protect them from injury and illness.

Before
paying respect to Luang Poh Cham, Luang Poh
Chuang, and Luang Poh Kleum, you should go to
pay respect to the principle Buddha image first.
After paying respect to the
principle Buddha image, continue to paying
respect to Luang Poh Cham, Luang Poh Chuang, and
Luang Poh Kleum in the sermon hall. For safety,
visitors have to light the joss sticks and the
candle, and make a wish outside the hall.
Inside the sermon hall, there are two cans of
fortune sticks for fortune telling practice.

After that, visitors can go
to the new pagoda to pay respect to the Buddhas
relics located on the top floor. The pagoda is
very beautiful and peaceful inside. Additionally,
there are many Buddha images including the
splendid paintings related to the story of
Buddha.
Next to the
pagoda is the imitated monks home where the wax
models of Luang Poh Cham, Luang Poh Chuang, and
Luang Poh Kleum are collected.
For anyone interested in a
Buddha image, there is a small pavilion for
buying it as well.
