Visit Mae Klong Area

This project was created to invite people to visit Samut Songkram Province by taking a train which is very convenient.   We spent 2 days for the trip.

Day 1: The train left the station at 7.40 a.m. and reached Mahachai Station 1 hour later. After that we took a boat ride to Baan Laem.

           At Baan Laem, a train is waiting to take us to Talad Romhub.

                     After lunch, we took another boat trip back to Baan Rim Klong Homestay.   In late afternoon, we had 2 hours to look around the floating market. About 5 p.m., we had our dinner on a boat and took in beautiful scenery of the Mae Klong River.

Day 2:     We took a long-tailed boat to visit Baan Klong Klone and mussel and cockle farm, and then had lunch at Kateng Klang Taley.

                A Kateng is like a house on a raft with no doors and windows so that people on the Kateng can feel the wind coming from every direction.

                After dinner, we took a van back to Bangkok which took only 1 hour.
