           Vieng Jum Oon tea house located at Charoenraj road, Wat Ket.  (the area for old culture community where most of many races  gather here.) and closed to east side of Ping river, the main river of Chiangmai.  This is the area of pubs, bars, spas, coffee house, souvenir and gift shops.

          Vieng Jum Oon is a little tea house painted in pink.  For native words “Vieng”means city.  “Jum Oon” means Pink. Here comes the name of pink tea house.

          The owner of Vieng Jum Oon is Thai-Chinese.  It is Chinese customs to sit down around table and chat, during tea time, that is the main idea to open this tea house for visitors to chat and relax.

Here they have two zones for customers.

        First zone is on the 2^nd floor. Furniture is decorated with Indian morocco style.Peacock is the logo of the shop.  An internet service is provided for required customers as well.Apart from good, quality tea, they also have, on sale, a collection of tea cup and saucers and other involved accessories for tea lovers.Tea packaging is beautiful and worth taking home.

          Another interesting item is a little flower blossom in water when soaked.  This is not for drinking but for decorating and good essence.  Very special indeed.

          Another corner  which we recommend is blended tea (a combination of black and white with cinnamon ).  It goes well with mini cake, tart, sandwich and fruit salad (in season) served with strawberry sauce.  Another special desert that you should not miss to try is blueberry cheese cake and almond brownies .  You may add to take with vanilla ice cream . Delicious.

For those who prefer beverages, they also serve here, with lots of bakery items.
