Chaithong national
park located at T.Wungta Ke A. Nong Wua Ra Va
Chaiyaphum on wide area 119,375 rais, covered by
Phraya Phor and Phung Hey mountain ridges. The
attractive places, there are four fields of Dok
Khajeaw in the area, the cliff of Phor Muang,
Phernjai, Suan Sawan, and Hum Hod along the
mountain ridges.
The waterfall Sai Thong and the old thousand
years tree is one point that the tourists want
to see.
Journey, Air
conditioned bus Bangkok-Nong Bau Ra Va three
rounds per a day at 10.00 a.m. 12.00 a.m. and
15.00 p.m. for a half and five hours reach to
Nong Bau Ra Va and take a bus to Sai Thong
National Park.
When you are in Nong Bau Ra Va, find any hotel for staying, breakfast or lunch in town. Then you can take a bus to Sai Thong National Park about 33 km nearly 30 minutes and pays fee 35 baht. Then you get at police office of Ban Pong and walking or take a car 9 km to Sai Thong National Park. The admission fee is 40 baht per a person. Here there are the car services for tourists; the price is 500 baht for 5-7 persons. There is also a restaurant on the National Park.
This
restaurant opens only Friday-Sunday. If you are
group tour you should directly contact them
before coming. They will serve what you would
like.
In the early morning, wake up to see the field of Dok Khajeaw, sea of fog and the cliff view points. Walking around the fields you will be amazed and fascinated when you touch with good air and good views of full blooming Dok Khajeaw among green grass in the field. Standing at the cliff will be exited and watching around forest view through the sea of fog that you will loose the suffering at all.
You can come to Sai Thong National Park on whole year, but you should prepare your equipments, food, tent and medicine. But you can stay at any houses of the national park. |
