Pong Phra Bath waterfall is a natural attractions of Ban Du under control of the Kok river National Park. Pong Phra Bat waterfall is over the end of the road No. 1151 with a wide area of 3,275 rai in high 500-1,000 meters above sea level. The Pong Phra Bath waterfall has many points of interest. There are the mountain rocks in the waterfall.

              The highlight of the Kok River National Park is Pong Phra Bath waterfall, a cataract like a rapid river with different levels. The waterfall is very clear and cold and walks up easily to the end of Pong Phrabath waterfall. You can walk from the Tourist Information and services to the waterfall about 900 meters and it has a car park for your cars.

          For the journey, starting from Chiang Rai ( the fifth intersection) along National Highway No. 1 (Chiang Rai - Mae Chan) 6 kms to Ban Du and then turn left along Highway No. 1151 (Ban Du - Ban Hua Fai) 8 kms and get to the waterfall.

          By mini – bus to Chiang Rai then get down at Ban Du market. Ride motorcycle from Ban Du to the waterfall about 30 baht or hire a minibu from Chiang Rai to the waterfall.
