Pi Tu
Gro waterfall
Pi Tu Gro is the highest waterfall on the west of
Um - Pang district of Tak in Thailand, flow from the top
of Mamuang Sammuen mountain, which
rivers flow from green mountains that we see clearly in
all the rainy season. The
views beside the way to the waterfall is the forest, the
off road style and adventure. This
waterfall is called Pi
Tu Gro
from a local name of a stream

Getting started
|

Crossing |
Um - Phang during the rainy season it looks
lonely. Very few tourists come.
It is unusual for us here. The most
will see the major holidays because it is heavy
rain. The roads are very difficult to travel. Car
or truck is uncomfortable to go there, only walking
to the waterfall.

Water fall on the mountain
|
The village hall Kui Le Tor is
the center of travel to Pi Tu Gro waterfall.
Go into wild
through bamboo forests to tread
into a mushy mud and the field of rice looks bright green
cover on the hill.
We have to cross streams,
a bamboo bridge that makes the heart faint
afraid to slip and fall in river, through the jungle and
walking up follow the stream. We must walk cross the high
2-3 mountains. We can see the waterfalls
flowing down from cliffs.

Fog and water fall
|
During the rain we have any
chance to see extremely this beautiful waterfall.
The
mist covered the top of mountain
until we can not see it from the
downstream. The waterfall that flows from the cliff on
the left and right converge to a single way.

Camping |

|
During the heavy rain
you can make photography difficultly because there is a
raindrop to float all the time, but it is a beautiful
view point at Pi Tu Gro waterfall.
This is also the same location we have seen a ridge on the
mountain.
The high level of 529 meters in front of
waterfall we head back to climb the ridge to rest on a ridge
1,100 meters from sea level. If all-weather day we will walk
up the ridge to see the views throughout the long ridge of
hills of the forest Um Pang clearly. It is about 1,734
meters altitude.

During the rainy season
a little of people come here
because the forest in the rainy season is very difficult
to visit. But when we saw the waterfall which is
the paradise of the tourist who likes adventure style
