Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park
Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park lies in Dansai
district of Loei province and Nakhon Thai district
of Phitsanulok province. The park is blessed with
natural beauty and historical significance.
In
the past, the mountains of Phu Hin Rong Kla were the
major strongholds for the communists, who were
threatening the political stability of the nation.
About
four kilometers from the national park is Romklao-Paradorn
Waterfall. It is surrounded by fantastic nature.
Phu
Hin Rong Kla National Park, there are also Kang Lad
Waterfall and Tat Fah Waterfall which are very
beautiful as well.
Unluckily, the fighting there
during communist years did incalculable damage to
the forest. The landscape and natural beauty in the
area have been restored and protected after the
communists lost.
Finally, the National Park Division sent officials
to survey the area and concluded that it had
fantastic natural beauty, served as an important
watershed, and had many historical points such as
Lan Hin Taek, Lan Hin Pum, and Pha Chu Thong.
