Giant Scorpian at Phra Thud Doi Wao, Mae Sai
Mae Sai is the highest north of Thailand , connected with Tha Kelek
of Burma using Mae Sai river and the boarder. Many tourist come to
buy inexpensive goods imported from China. There is a connecting
bridge approximately 30 km away, will be ready for use soon.
Phra
Thud Doi Wao is in this spot, just 300 meters before the
Immigration. This is the big market and we can walk up hill to see
giant scorpion built by Phraong Wao, the king of Nakpun-yonok to put
the hair of Buddha in the pagoda in the year BE.364

On the top of the hill,
the tourist can see the clear view of Thai and Burma, easy to notice
that the Burma side has more green trees and more hills than the
Thai side. It is a good view to take pictures of giant scorpion as
one and only place to recognize Mae Sai.
