             In the year 2548 B.E., the Buddhists from Saraburi province and from all regions of Thailand had collaborated and started to build the pagoda, Maha Ratana Chedi Phra Si Sasana Phodisat Sawang Bun and it was completed in 2550 B.E. This is a great and very beautiful pagoda which is different from other pagodas in Thailand because it has 500 pinnacles.

               The main pagoda is in the middle and surrounded by the small pagodas and there are the arched doors and the stairs up to the main pagoda in the four corners. All the 500 pinnacles contained the Buddha’s relic so it is a holy place in Buddhism.

              The walls inside the main pagoda full of many art works that look like the Indian art and on the top has the pictures of the important pagodas in Thailand such as Phra Thad Doi Suthep at Chiang Mai, Phra Thad Phanom at Nakhon Phanom, and Phra Thad Nakhon Si Thammarat.

             There is a small pagoda inside the main pagoda that is decorated with the beautiful ruby glass. In each year, the temple will have a temple fair to make merit and change the pagoda’s clothes which take place around the 30th in January. The people who want to join in the ceremony are invited but should check the date and time for ensure before traveling.

                The inner temple also has the beautiful Buddha images for the people to worship such as the Nak Prok Buddha image, Phra Yuen Pang Prathanporn or the standing Buddha image and other.

                In the temple has a large hall for the people to practice meditation that is very peaceful, clean and shady so this temple is considered a model developed temple. In addition, there are a lot of wood arts and handcrafts for visiting too.

              In addition, this temple also located close to many attractions namely Krok E Dok Waterfall, Jedkod Waterfall, Sam Lan Waterfall, Ched Sao Noi waterfalls, and other. So you can travel to them after visiting the temple.
