Palaad Tawanron

           Another restaurant near waterfall, mountain view which we  guarantee to be number one among restaurants in Chiangmai is Palaad Tawanron.

          We have chance to meet the friendly owner – Khun Chumporn who told us about background of opening of this restaurant. Located on top of  mountain where you can see the whole town of Chiangmai, specially at night, it looks like sparkling stars, when you look at down town of Chiangmai,
so beautiful that we will not miss to mention.

The first famous menu we recommend is roast-pork leg, a well known plate among customers.  It is really crispy and delicious.

ร้Another dish is Tomyam prawns with coconut shoot.  In my opinion, the best tomyam in Chiangmai.

The third plate, equally delicious, is fruit salad served with deep fried prawns.  Go well with wine.

 All tables are set to see beautiful scenery  down the mountain, either waterfall or lake views.    While enjoying food ,you  may listen to beautiful song composed by the owner.  They also provide microscope for those who are interested.

An unforgettable  restaurant  and worth visiting we would say.

          The restaurant is decorated in a very grand manner.  The floor is covered with red carpet, a sign of VIP  reception for all the guests.  The lighting system is very soft and gentle to the eyes.  Another special feature of the restaurant is the view point the owner set up for all the guests at the back of the restaurant where you can enjoy the scenic view of Chiangmai by microscope.

          How to get there:  Phalaad Tawanron is situated behind the Chiangmai zoo, coming from the cannel road you make a  left turn  at Tonpayorm intersection and drive along the back gate of the Chiangmai university, you will see a sign and make a right turn , then drive up the mountain path for about 15 minutes and you are there at one of the most romantic restaurant in Chiangmai.
