Worship the Chinese shrine....and
find fish in Paknampo River
Pak Nam Pho is a popular place of the
province. Pak Nam Pho is where four rivers
flow convergence at Nakhonsawan. River flow
combined with Wang Ping River at Tak.
Yom river flow combined with
the Nan River at Phitsanulok. Both different
rivers
flow together to Paknampo Sub-district
become a big river to sustain the life of
many people. Covered eating area in many
provinces of Thailand has become important
to many lives.

There are two colors of river because
the sand in the river has deferent colors
look at Pak Nam Pho.
Why are two colors?
Today we meet with the villagers living in
here from childhood they said two lines of
two colors because the soil under different
Rivers, Nan with rich mineral is more than
yellow Opaque and the fish community
over the Ping River.
We take the tour by boat
Paknampo River looking for fishermen and
fish are living in the river.

Their lives in the floating houses on
a river are a career, a normal life. The
fishermen live all the time on the floating
houses or boathouses both sleeping and
eating along the separation of the Nan River
at Pak Nam Pho. We can see their rafts about
5-10 km stretch of the bank and the old
house has the high poles for preventing
backwater. The people still travel by boat a
regular basis of their life and would be a
longtime.

We meet the fishermen fishing in this
river. Fishing equipment are many of nets
and others. fishing equipments from the
most popular traditional method is to leave
the net flow the river and tie end of the
boat drop of net flow along the length about
one kilometer and then recover to come on
board and returned to clean nets and keep
fish from the nets before leave to find
Fish in the next round. One
day, out to fish around 10-15 around, one
takes an hour to find the most fish but in
winter fish are community. Sometimes they
find at night
on several kilograms. In the morning or
evening, their wives will bring fish to sell
in the market. The life of fishing is
traditional for the generation to next
generation.

Chinese
shrine
of Paknampo is over 150
years. They pay respect to the Guardians
Shrine of Paknampo. They always visit to
worship them everyday.
During Chinese New Year we
will have great merit of this shrine. To
show Cherd Chinese Lion
and Chinese lion
dances
to worship gods which are celebrated Cherd
lion is the largest one that is considered a
holy shrine of Chao Pho Nam Po.

The shrine is beautifully built and
decorated for worship their gods by the
Chinese architect. Thai -Chinese live in a
raw of rooms. In front of the shrine we can
see Paknampo River in two colors clearly.
Mostly it is
considered a shrine on the
banks of the beautiful one of Thailand

In addition, here is the source of
Chao Phraya and also has several very
interesting. Living on boathouse that people
live along the coast of the river
as strong and long, it may
not be dominant from the outside world. We
hope that they will preserve living in a
boathouse on Paknampo River forever.

Paknampo is located at Tambon Pak Nam
Pho opposite the office of Muang District
Nakhonsawan.
There are also many special menus in many
stores such as noodles, rice with roasted
pork and Thai fermented noodle etc. After
the river tour if I would buy souvenirs
there are the markets on the bank of
Chao Phraya River with many products to buy
and walking along the footpath
