The legend of Nong Mor village.               Long time ago, there used to have one monk that lived around their village, at the same time many villagers was killed by epidemics that can stop them. So another villager asked a monk to cure them by recite an incantation over water and send them to villagers but is not enough for them so they dig the pool for making holy water.and then this pool is called “Holy water pool”.

And now another merchant use them all this market.                     The 3 kinds of bamboo to make it are “Kaw lam bamboo” , “Forest bamboo” and “Sre Suk bamboo” which but right now they had a problem with bamboo because it’s difficult to find a good quality bamboo and they have been trying to find the way to keep their Nong Mon glutinous rice roasted in bamboo.
