Sea of fog Mon Kie Lom- Mon

The National Park of Mae Say
district, Tak province, it is the high land that covered
with the fog, especially at Mon-kie-Lom which is plenty of
natures. Besides that we can visit Mae-mers Park, it is far
away from there about 120 Km. Go along the road of Mae-Sort-Mae-ramard
and Thar-song-yarng until Mae-slid village, you will see the
way to Mae-Mer. It is the same way to Mae-la-meung village,
throughout this way, it is fairly quiet place, and sometimes
you will see the cars running in opposite direction. Safety
is good because there are many Military checkpoints along
the road.

From Mae-Sa-Lids junction up to the high and
curve road about 10 kilometers you will pass the Mae-Mer
park, and continue to Mon-Phoun-Sou-Da, Mon-Khru-Bar-Sai,
Mae-La-Meung waterfall until you arrive at Mon-Kie-Lom
which it is on the left hand it has a grass yard, and suitable
for staying overnight. In the morning time, you will see
the beautiful scenery and the sky changes its colors
from darkness to be orange and yellow. Furthermore, you
will see the fog sea that hides itself under the
mountains appear clearly up.
At Mon-Kie-Lom,
it is a place that we can see the most beautiful fog sea in
the National Park of Mae-Mer. In the winter season, it is a
good opportunity that we will see the fog sea and the
sunrise beautifully.

At the present time, there are great numbers of
tourists drive their own cars and set up the camp in order
to see the beauty of view in the morning.
Returning back to the National Park we will see
Mae-La-Meung waterfall, throughout the year.
And the next
down, they are the view points of Mon-khrubarsay and Mon-Phoun-Sou-Da.
At
there, there will have a large grass yard which we can see
the fog sea overspreads the valleys, that is Mer River
shares with Burmese border.

At the National Park of Mae-Mer
still has the natural travelling way like trekking to stay
overnight that is the way up to the top of the mountains
behind direction called that Mon-Phouy-Mok, it is a high fog
sea that we can see the scenery largely at the view point
sunrise and sunset as well.
For this trekking way, the tourists whom are
interested in trekking, have to contact the official
staff of the National Park of Mae-Mer in order to be
comfortable and safety in travelling.
Anyone whom would like to see the sea fog at Mon-Kie-Lom,
the National Park of Mae-Mer, you can go to visit it in
winter or rainy season.
Journey
To Start from Bangkok to Mae-sot and then go to Thar-Song-
Yarng District by using the highway of Mae Sot and Mae-Sa-Leung
until to the tri-junction from Mae-Slid, turn right to
Mae-La-Meung village which you will pass the Mae-Mer
National Park.
