When talking about Petchaburi province, most people think of Kanom Mor Keang (Custard Pudding) as it is the signature dessert of the province.

                                       Mae Pin Kanom Mor Keang has been in the business for over 80 years. The recipe belonged to Khun Yu Pin (Grandma Pin), and it has been passed on to the next generations.  Khun Ya Pin learned how to make Kanom Mor Keang by herself and kept improving the recipe until her Kanom Mor Keang had become very famous.

                                      Even though Mae Pin passed away a long time ago, her reputation of baking Kanom Mor Keang is still remembered.  For making Kanom Mor Keang, the ingredients are very important.

                                      At Mae Pin Kanom Mor Kaeng, they used fresh eggs, coconuts from Tub Sakae, and palm sugar from Petchaburi. Moreover, all the ingredients must be measured with the right proportions before mixing, and then bake it for about 45 minutes.
