Yuam-Mae Saleang-Hod-Jomthong-Chiang Mai with PTT.
Most of the drivers know the
way to Mae Hongsorn 1,864 turns to Mae Hongsorn, the
distance of 349 km. and 7-8 hours driving.

route is from Mae Rim Mae Tang Pai then to Mae Hongsorn
at 245 km. and 2224 turns and 6 hours driving. This route
has more turning, but it is pretty sight and advantage to
visit Pai on the way.

all for 4088 turns, most of the roads were built by the
military Japanese during the WW2, to go to Saravin itn
Burma. There are service stations on the way.

We
started from Mae Rim, north to Pai passing many high
mountains and turning curves. Pai is still the tourist
attraction as cool weather and nice view.

Pai is hot during the day time and no
air conditioning, there is a good coffee shop named Coffee
Tea Sapan Pai is soothing for rest stop.
Big fish
From Pai we are heading to
Mae Hongsorn. Passed by Mae Lana with many caves and curves,
one cave is for big fish as seen in the picture
When you drive to Mae Hongsorn
this route, it is 2,224 turns just passed by. The city is
not active as Pai, there is a mud bath in this city.

We passed by the WW2 Japanese museum,
where the Japanese built the camp at Khun Yuam. It is
difference from the cruelty of the Japanese soldiers. The
fact is the Japanese helped the local for the better life as
the evidence still remain as seen here.

Driving from Khun Yuam for 30 km. passed the cave with frost
in the cave is called Thum Kawo komon
It is
recommended that this spot should be promoted as a tourist
attraction.
