Kanom Jiin ….Seven Colors

                                  In Thailand wherever you go you will find Kanom Jiin everywhere, even in the countryside. As we travel on this trip we are going to visit Baan Pa Rae. At this restaurant the owners have made their own original recipe for Kanom Jiin with seven different herbs that look like seven different colors. They serve their food buffet style, all you can eat at a very reasonable price

                                  The most famous Kanom Jiin comes from the north and central area of Thailand.
                                  In the southern area of the Northern provinces, Lom Sak and Lon Kao districts they have the most delicious Kanom Jiin and wonderful savory curries which make this dish very special. The restaurant Baan Pa Rae stands out as the most exceptional place to eat this because they make Kanom Jiin there with totally fresh ingredients that are grown in the area.

                                 The yellow curry is made with turmeric giving it a savory flavor. The green curry is made with the panamas leaves which give it a sweeter spicy taste. The specialty curry of the house is a violet colored curry made from the Butterfly Pea flower. It is so delicious you can not stop eating it till you are totally full.
