Day
1: Bangkok - Prachuap Khiri Khan
The first
destination we visitted was Tham Khao Luang
which was big and important in Petchaburi. When
inside the temple, we found a lot of monkeys.
However, the cave itself was very beautiful
because it was filled with beautiful stalactites
and stalagmites. On the roof, there was a
heart-shaped hold letting the light come in. The
cave was divided into 3 rooms, and all of them
housed beautiful images of Buddha.
After that, we visitted Wat
Petchplee, ate popular dessert of Petchaburi
called O-Tueng, which was Lod Chong (Thai
dessert similar in shape to noodles eaten with
sweetened coconut milk.), and went to get a good
massage at a spa named Kang Han Thong.

Day
2: Pecthaburi - Prachuap Khiri Khan
We headed to
Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
Hua Hin town is
in Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is an interesting old
town as it has pleasant atmosphere. There are
beautiful palaces and beaches, and the streets
are good and wide.
Also, Kaeng Krachan
National Park is situated in Hua Hin. We went to
the beautiful Pa La Au Waterfall in the National
Park as well.
After visiting
the waterfall, we had lunch by the sea at a
restaurant named Yu Yen restaurant. At the
restaurant, there was also a cute coffee shop
called Baan Kafae Hua Hin.
After that, we
went to Baan Khao Tao Handicraft Centre for
hand-woven cotton. The locals have lived on the
products for over 40 years.
The next place
was Plearnwan.
To pause time, Plearnwan was built and it
has become the centre of joy and happiness. It
contains many shops and restaurants that were
built with wood in order to reflect the
atmosphere in 1956.
After Plearnwan, we went to take
a rest at our accommodation before coming out
again to CICADA MARKET. It is a new flea
market containing interesting shops and
restaurants. It is open only on Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday from 3 p.m. - 12 a.m. There
were also live music and entertainment at the
market.
