The
City Pillar Shrine in Suphanburi Province is located on the west
bank of the Suphanburi River. It is considered as one of the most
beautiful and unique shrine in Thailand because it was built in Thai
style architecture but later changed to a Chinese pavilion design
with hundreds of crafted dragons.
The shrine also houses statues of the god Vishnu carved out of green
stone.
In its area, there is a building where a gigantic dragon was built
on top.
Other than that, there is a 7-floor pavilion located in the middle
of the lake.
This place is suitable for people to come and relax. Also, they can
learn about things and be entertained at the same time.
