5 Region Thai Travel Fest @ Season of the South was held in Nakhon Si Thammasat. It is organized to promote the campaign “Thieo Thai Kruk Kruen, Setthakit Thai Kuek Khak" (Enjoy a wonderful travel in Thailand for the better Thai economy.) The purpose of the campaign is to support “the Best” of each region from tourist attractions to cultural performances.

         It was held at the auditorium of Thung Tha Lad Park (Somdej Phra Si Nakarindra 84 Park) and divided into 3 zones.
The first zone was for travel dealers such as travel agencies, hotels, resorts, and airlines.

         For the second zone, there were booths exhibiting and selling local products of each region.

          For the South region, there was an exhibition of local products including the demonstrations of fabric dyeing and making batik.

        For the North region, there was the demonstration of making umbrellas, while the East region demonstrated making flowers of fish scale.
